Just Get It Done

Sometimes having a personal deadline can be a bit stressful. Specially if you want to follow your own set deadlines. you have to find ways to get yourself to work and be satisfied with the work that you did. Usually I even forget to add some stuff to my work. But, a deadline's a deadline and in order for me to crank out my personal stuff i have to follow my rules. Most of the time you are never done, you just say "that's enough, and i'll just make the next one better". Unfortunately, 8/10 the next one is just as bad as the one you did before that. You only see the difference after you compare your works which you considered "done" 2 years ago to the work that you do now.

Growing... like a plant

Trying my hand on conceptualizing some plants. I know i have a long way to go with colors, but this is an improvement. It might not be much but it does give me a bit of hope with colors. Back then I used to fear colors, I was just used to pencils and inks. And although i already know what to look for in a good color piece, every time I start one i would end up not knowing where i went wrong or even not have the slightest clue what to do next. All i know was it was not how i saw it in my mind's eye. But for more than two years I've been working in a 3d art company and i guess whatever i've been doing there is helping me get better. It's nice to see that I'm still growing as an artist.
